Substrate cultivation has a lot of advantages. The slabs are better to control for growers in the greenhouse cultivation. We are struggling in agriculture with different kind of pathogens that could create root diseases. Diseases are the most important reasons for the losses. These diseases are often infectious. Working process

Aerobic biological purification uses natural cycle processes. The creation of optimal process conditions accelerates the degradation process, which means that the water is purified of pathogenic fungus.

In an oxygen-rich environment, microorganisms break down organic material. Oxidation of organic material results in the formation of mainly mineral components.
The oxygenation is necessary for (aerobic activity) aerobic bacteria.This results in all the fine organic contaminants in the water (fungus, algae and moulds) being broken down.

Where to place

In order to make optimal use of the ABR system, it is recommended to place it parallel to the daily stock. This always treats the water that comes out of the irrigation system. The water first goes to the bioreactor, then back to the daily supply and then to cultivation. This way, the oxygen-rich water eventually ends up at the roots and crops can become stronger and more resistant. The beneficial bacteria will then multiply. This no longer gives contamination a chance.

The ABR system is not only applicable in substrate cultivation. There are more options in different types of crops. When water is involved, it is often necessary to make the soil healthier and give micro-organisms a chance.
