Oxybull Aeration System

Agrona's OxyBull aeration system is the most efficient technology available to solve major problems with a Microbubble. A healthy crop and a better root environment through oxygen-rich water. The OxyBull also provides movement of the water in a water storage tank. Because water is in motion, it is impossible for organic pollution or algae to grow in a silo. Oxygen also ensures clean drip lines so that less or no chemicals need to be used. To guarantee an optimal oxygen input, we recommend installing the system in the day supply or clean water silo. The system is plug-and-play and can be easily connected on site. When the OxyBull aeration system is used in combination with our oxygen meter, the oxygen level and temperature is saved and displayed on the computer every 5 minutes.

The Benefits

100% Oxygen in water
Mixing & circulating water
Optimizes bacterial life
Keeps drip line clean
Algae breakdown
Organic matter breakdown

Grow more productively

It’s important to grow more productive plants. The increased availability of oxygen atoms also improves the absorption of nutrients. If roots lack of oxygen, they have no choice but to replace it with other compounds. They then start with the production of ethylene. However, this causes cell damage and increases the risk of pathogenic diseases. The temperature is the most important variable that influences how much molecular oxygen the water can hold. The higher the water temperature, the lower the amount of dissolved oxygen that can be retained by the water. This is the reason why aerobic bacteria multiply effectively.

The importance of oxygen

Dissolved oxygen is the first defense against anaerobe bacteria that causes pathogenic fungus in soil. It also stimulates a faster root growth and a greater density of the fine root hairs, which are in fact responsible for the absorption of water. This intake requires a lot of energy from the plant in the form of oxygen.

How does it work?

A high oxygen content in water is important for plants to grow more productively. Our professor at AGRONA explains how the Oxybull aeration system works. This video is also available in the French, Spanish and Dutch version.

Subsidy

The investment of the Oxybull system is subject to the Environmental Investment Allowance (MIA), which allows the investment deduction to rise to 36% of the investment amount.
