Voldoende zuurstof in het water- en wortelmilieu is een voorwaarde voor een sterk en vitaal gewas. Meer zuurstof maakt het gewas sterker en zorgt voor hogere producties. Dat is de ervaring van Van der Voort Tomaten in Vierpolders. Het bedrijf gebruikt een waterbehandelingssysteem van Agrona dat het zuurstofniveau permanent optimaal houdt.
